You’ve got to hand it to Disney … they never take no for an answer.

I’ve never seen “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. I had expectations of seeing it before it premiered on ABC at the start of the 2013 television season. However, I try to give a show a few weeks to make sure it won’t be canceled. No need pouring your heart into a television show only to see it get the ax.

Well, “S.H.I.E.L.D.” got some pretty bad reviews and since it’s gigantic premiere, it’s lost a ton of viewers. So I’ve passed on it, so far. Maybe I’ll watch it on Netflix. However, Walt Disney is hoping people like me will give the show another chance.

In fact, the big mouse is sounding so desperate, it’s resorting to having a tie-in between the show and the upcoming blockbuster “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” Entertainment Weekly reports that’s exactly what’s supposed to happen.

What kind of crossover will it be? Nobody seems to know. But if history is any indication, it likely won’t help. The television show got a big boost from “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” for its premiere in 2013, but tie-ins with “Thor: The Dark World” and even Kree from “Guardians of the Galaxy” saving Coulson couldn’t help the ratings.

But, since Walt Disney, ABC and Marvel are all tied together, why not try again? It worked so well when the trailer for “Avengers: Age of Ultron” was supposed to premiere during “S.H.I.E.L.D” before,, as Josh Whedon said on his Twitter account, Hydra released the trailer earlier.

Oh that wacky Hydra.

Several media outlets are reporting that additional footage for the June 2015 release of “The Avengers: Age of Ultron” will take place in January.

It’s reported that the gang will come together to shoot for two weeks at Pinewood Studios in London, the same place where “The Force Awakens” was shot and where the next “James Bond” film will be shot.

Latino-Review.com reports “the extra scenes will help the film ramp up the action and the epic scope needed for such a movie.”

Another media outlet, The Daily Mail in London, also reported the cast will return later in 2015 to film “Avengers 3” and “Avengers 4” back to back, also likely at Pinewood.
