One down, four to go.
Duncan Jones recently tweeted that he won’t be the director chosen from a potential list of five to lead the third “Star Trek” installment.
Rupert Wyatt, Morten Tyldum, Daniel Espinosa and Justin Lin
A group that included Rupert Wyatt, Morten Tyldum, Daniel Espinosa and Justin Lin was reported to be the short list of choices by Paramount Pictures, J.J. Abrams and Skydance Productions. Jones (“Moon” and “Source Code”) is in post-production for the video-game adaptation of “Warcraft.” He’s also believed to be involved in “Mute,” a graphic novel about a bartender who can’t speak that decides to enter the world of crime to track down his kidnapped female friend.
Cinema Blend reports Wyatt (“The Rise of the Planet of the Apes”) is the clubhouse leader to be chosen as the next director for the third “Star Trek.”
