I didn’t know monkeys could type.

You can ask questions to Dexter, the monkey in “Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb” on Friday at 2 p.m. EST on the 20th Century Fox Twitter account. The studio made the announcement on its Facebook page.

Just go to @20thcenturyfox and tweet questions with the hashtag #askdexter. The film hits theaters on Friday.

No comments yet on whether the primates from the “Planet of the Apes” franchise, which 20th Century Fox also owns, plan to rise up or hack the studio’s emails in anger they weren’t included … like the North Koreans have apparently done to Sony Pictures over “The Interview.”

Hollywood has used just about everything to promote a film.

This has to be a first.

There’s an contest going on now for the movie “Taken 3,” which hits theaters on Jan. 9. 20th Century Fox has created a situation where the winner will have their LinkedIn account endorsed by Liam Neeson. An actual recording where Neeson speaks his approval will be available to the winner.

The contest is open now and runs through Jan. 4. Just click on the video, posted by 20th Century Fox on its YouTube page, for all the details. Click below to see the Taken 3 trailer along with a new clip.
